HOUSTON (August 22, 2008) -- Assistant Coach Laurie Byrd and guards Roneeka Hodges and Erica White led a group of high school girl basketball players through a Houston Comets skills clinic presented by Houston Community College and Spring Branch Independent School District at the Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church on August 22. Byrd, Hodges, and White demonstrated drills and held a question and answer session for the participants. Erica White had this to say "I think it is important to give back to the community and hold these skill camps because you never know what type of influence or whose lives you are going to touch by giving back."
