Houston Comets and News Talk 1070 KNTH-AM Form Radio Broadcast Partnership

HOUSTON (May 30, 2008) – The Houston Comets today announce a new partnership with Salem Radio Houston’s News Talk 1070 KNTH-AM to broadcast the team’s home and away games during the 2008 season. Craig Ackerman, the voice of the Houston Comets, returns as host and play-by-play announcer for all Comets radio programs. Comets game broadcasts on 1070 KNTH-AM will begin 10 minutes prior to the published tip-off time of Houston’s regular season games. 1070 KNTH-AM will air all 2008 Comets regular season games except for mid-week, midday games due to station schedule conflicts, which includes a July 8, 2:30 p.m. game at Phoenix and a July 17, 11 a.m. Kids’ Day match versus the Minnesota Lynx at Reliant Arena.
